War Ends Each Phase

From Genesis 14 to Revelation 20, God consistently uses military conflict to end and begin all kinds of phases. This fact is especially pertinent to Nebuchadnezzar's statue. Babylon fell to Medo-Persia in 539BC, after Cyrus II invaded the realm and quickly took the city. Medo-Persia fell to Greece in 331BC at the Battle of Gaugamela after a three-year conquest. Greece fell to Rome, ultimately, in 146BC at the Battle of Corinth after eight decades of incremental conquest.
